Cosmo Couture 2013 Event Details
This fall's event will be held September 19th at the Artisphere in Rosslyn, Virginia and will be a juried competition and charity benefit in which local design firms partner with industry manufacturers creating high fashion.
Theme: This year's design inspiration celebrates the quest to minimize our impact on Earth and preserve our environment. It bridges our industry's sustainable design practices with the conservation and research efforts of The National Zoo. Because birds are an integral part of virtually every ecosystem, this year's design inspiration comes from exotic birds found at the National Zoo.
Beneficiary: My Sister's Place, Inc., the largest and oldest non-profit agency exclusively serving battered women and their children in the District of Columbia.
